Excellent Blog Award

Becky over at Biker Chickz Blog has declared my blog "Excellent." Clearly, Becky is a woman of intelligence, style and taste. She's also got a great blog with thoughts, essays and encouragement for female riders. Thanks Becky!

As part of getting this award, I am now charged with listing 10 more excellent blogs. Frankly, I have a hard time narrowing it down to only ten. Really, if you see a link over to the right, that means that they're excellent.

All the same, I'll play along and list ten of my favorite blogs. These are not in any kind of order.

1. Musings of an Intrepid Commuter - Irondad is a rider so hardcore that he teaches other riders how to be hardcore. And that's awesome.
2. Rush Hour Rambling - Gary is a great guy, and redefines "hardcore" by riding his scooter 365 days a year. In Minnesota. Sadly on hiatus, we all hope he'll return. In the meantime, check out his archive of killer posts.
   
3. Positive Ape Index - Coop's blog rocks. Coop's art rocks. Coop, well, rocks. His blog covers a variety of topics including fast cars, fast motorcycles, toys, art, naked women and more. Coop's blog isn't always work-safe, however, unless your workplace is unusually cool.
4. Scooter in the Sticks - Steve is another hardcore scooterist. He prefers his thrills on the slow and meditative side however. Wonderful photos, and insightful posts.
5. Dancing the Polka With Miss El Cajon - Chris is a brilliant columnist and blogger whose life has many disturbing similarities to my own. Only, instead of getting obsessed with motorcycles, he picked the Welsh language as his passion, and is now going to school in Wales to learn their crazy whale-talk. He wants a Ducati, though, so he's not an entirely lost cause.
6. Cruisin' Down Under - I freakin' love Beaker's ride reports.
7. Biker Betty - Another hardcore woman motorcyclist. Her enthusiasm for all things motorcycle is very obvious.
8. The Ride Report - Great posts about various things moto.
9. Stuck Between a Sandwich and a Cold Place - I don't think sandwichgirl has ever posted about motorcycles, but her diary about living and working in Antarctica is awesome. Personal favorite SBASAACP glossary word: "Freshies" for fresh fruits and vegetables.
10. Battlefield Biker - as something of a history buff, the combination of history and motorcycles is delightful.

So! That wraps up my 10 excellent blogs. If you all are so inclined, write a post listing 10 others that you feel have excellent blogs and give them warm fuzzy feelings for the rest of the day. Or don't. You won't have bad luck or anything. Just a lingering feeling that you've done wrong (I kid, I kid).
